Kentish Glory Moth Trap & Egg Hunt - Granish, near Aviemore

Date:  Saturday 13th May

Time:  10.00am

Meeting Place:  Aviemore Kart Raceway car park at Granish. Turn off the B9152 about 1km north of Aviemore. The Kart Raceway is well signposted at the turn-off.

Grid reference: NH901147. What3Words: nuggets.pepper.hiked.  Please car share if possible so that we don’t take up too much space.

Description: We’ll walk from the Raceway to the woodland, where a moth trap or two will have been run overnight. After going through the moth trap(s), we will search for Kentish Glory egg batches on young birch trees.

Approx duration:  Until about 3pm, or whenever you wish to leave.            

What's Needed:  Bring a packed lunch and a load of patience for egg searching.
