Meeting place: RSPB Insh Marshes car park. 2 miles out of Kingussie on the B970 (past Ruthven Barracks). NN775998 (OS sheet 35 – Kingussie)


Description: A look through moth traps as part of the reserve’s annual monitoring of Dark Bordered Beauty moth, found at only three locations in Scotland. Apart from DBB, lots of other moths will be seen.


Approx. duration: To lunchtime and beyond…..


What’s needed: Packed lunch, midge repellent (just in case).
