Butterfly Walk

Date: Thurs 25th July


Time: 2.00pm


Meeting place: RSPB Insh Marshes car park. 2 miles out of Kingussie on the B970 (past Ruthven Barracks). NN775998 (OS map 35 – Kingussie)


Description: A gentle walk along one of the reserve’s nature trails to look for butterflies and take part in Butterfly Conservation’s Big Butterfly Count. No need to book, just turn up on the day.


Approx. duration: 1 to 2 hours


What’s needed: Stout footwear for uneven paths. Binoculars, especially with close focus, are useful for getting good views of butterflies.
